    Description

    This gorgeous life like Art & Portrait doll was created by the late Elizabeth Jenkins who was well known for her portrayals of African Americans. It was commission especially for an International Doll Makers Association Event held in Kansas City in 2001. Queen Bey, a famous Jazz and Blues Performer from Kansas City was the inspiration for this work. The doll is titled “The Jazz Singer”
    It is a multimedia piece with the doll made from a polychrome detailed vinyl and hand painted then elegantly dressed with furs and jewels.  She hold a microphone while she sings her heart out. She has a custom made stand which the pegs on bottom of her high heel shoes fit into, the stand even has a hole for her microphone cord to fit into.
    With the stand she measures approximately 13 3/4” tall.
    The doll comes in it’s original box with the custom made packaging and is in excellent condition.
