Rare full color cover antiquarian edition of The Metropolitan Mother Goose written by Elizabeth C. Watson with full color illustrations in the Art Nouveau/Art Deco style by Emma Clark. Published by the Metropolitan Life Corporation. Copyright date is not present but likely around the 1910s-1930s. Excellent source for period decorations. Very nice condition for ages, personalized on fly-page with previous owners name as well as a stamp on the title page from the long gone insurance agency. This book was stapled, so oxidation is present on all pages where it touches the staples, but does not effect the majority of illustrations. Also a nice advertising piece to add to your collection.
