Vintage Mazon Coffee 1 LB tin/can, Jersey City, NJ, twist off lid, Pat 1927Description: Color lithographed tin. One pound Mazon coffee tin with twist off lid roasted and packed for the Mazon Coffee Company, Jersey City, NJ 1920’s. Inside very clean. Top of lid embossed with Patent 1443682-1621487. Patent 1,621,487 was issued March 22, 1927 which establishes an early date for this can; it was for the lid.
Dimensions: 6x4 inches
Condition: Very good. Brilliant gold paint on the lettering and emblem. Small flaws indicative of age and use. Paint is good with few scrapes.
Flaws: a couple dings.
Comments: We acquired this at an estate auction.
