Vintage Japanese Tea Box.  RobRoy Japan Tea.
Grand Island Nebraska advertising
measures 16.5” x 10.5” x 5.5”
Paper graphics applied over wood with tin lined interior.
Graphic paper applied to all four exterior sides as well as box top.
Graphic paper applied to interior of lid with some areas of discoloration.
Latching mechanism works. Hinged lid.
Exterior bottom of box is stamped Made in Japan.
Label reads: 20 1/2 lb pkgs; Robroy reg. U.S. Pat. off.; Brand Uncolored Japan Tea; Packed in Japan for the Donald Company Tea Importers, Grand Island Nebr.
There are areas where the exterior paper is worn or missing predominately on corners.
There has been something splattered on the exterior paper
Graphic colors are strong and bright.  Tin lining is intact and in good shape.
